GdS: Bologna join Saelemaekers race but winger wants LaLiga move

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are working on outgoings as well as potential incomings in the final few days of the window, and Alexis Saelemaekers’ situation needs to be resolved.

Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) talks about the Belgian, who has ended up in the sights of Bologna despite the fact they have signed Ndoye and Karlsson for the wings and Orsolini renewed.

Nicolas Dominguez could also leave Bologna with Nottingham Forest interested, and that could help raise funds for them to sign another forward.

Saelemaekers also has Real Betis on his tail, a team that has the advantage of playing in the Europa League. This is something that puts the former Anderlecht man in a position of preferring the LaLiga club.

Bologna will try and insist and they have a loan formula in mind, though it remains to be seen whether this will convince Milan or not.

    1. Saelemaekers wasn’t happy with Pioli choosing Messias over him and he had a bad attitude about it. That’s what caused the falling out with Pioli.

Pioli made it very clear that he wants happy players at Milan which is a directly related to Saelemaekers bad attitude. So now Pioli is forcing him out.

      1. I believe just like how Adli’s development was sacrificed for CDK, which didn’t work, same could be said for Saele’s continuous improvement, sacrificed for Messias.
        At the end, Milan’s loss

    2. Because now we have Pulisic, Chukwueze and Romero at RW? Pioli had no choice before. Messias and Saelemaekers are now completely irrelevant.

    3. Because we dont have money to buy RW last season so we ended using junior & salad . Now we can buy pulisic & samuel chukwu , we dont need salad the defensive winger anymore

  1. Saele really didnt look happy in the videos and photos from the preseason. Like someone Who know, that there is no place for him
