GdS: Brahim should start against Roma, Porto and Inter as Milan aim high

By Isak Möller -

In the space of a week, AC Milan will face Roma, Porto and Inter in what will be a deciding run of games for them. It starts on Sunday at the Olimpico and fortunately, some key players are back.

As reported by Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), Brahim Diaz will make his return on Sunday after testing negative for Covid-19. He has had enough days of training with the team and will thus play from the first minute.

In fact, the playmaker is expected to start against Roma, Porto and Inter, per the newspaper. He won’t play the full 90 minutes every time but Stefano Pioli feels his presence is crucial from the start of the game.

Rade Krunic has been the replacement recently and although the Bosnian has done quite well, getting the red card for Bologna and assisting Giroud last time out, Diaz is on another level currently.
