GdS: Brest star stalls on Monaco’s offer – he is waiting for Milan’s move

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan retain an interest in signing Lilian Brassier from Brest, a report claims, and the player would love to make the move over to Italy.

As La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) reports, Brassier will play for Brest against Montpellier on Sunday while Milan take to the field against Roma at San Siro in a game that is crucial in the top four battle.

If he had the choice, the 24-year-old Frenchman would gladly be at San Siro. Brassier wants to wear the red and black shirt, which is why he is stalling on an offer from Monaco for the time being and is waiting for the Diavolo to make a move.

The interest is clearly reciprocated, even if Milan are also putting things on hold for now. The Ligue 1 club have not yet received any proposal from Italy and the reasons for this stand-by may be different.

Are Milan reflecting on the figures? Yes, because the €10-12m requested by Brest is not an insignificant sum. Are Milan looking around, also evaluating other options? This too is very likely, and the decision to stop the dialogue with Matija Popovic’s agents means a non-EU spot is free.

Then there is a third option, which we can reflect on throughout the transfer market: Theo Hernandez is increasingly convincing as a central defender and is extending the squad in that particular area, while waiting for the return of the three key men.

This is why – if Theo’s performance continue along these levels of reliability – it cannot be ruled out that the search for a new centre-back could be postponed to June.

    1. No, I think he may be overrated. His stats aren’t very good at least. Woulld rather have Calafiori instead. He costs a bit more but is Italian.

          1. Obviously not 1000% sure or 100% for that matter as that is the max 😀 as i dont work for SempreMilan but i think its in batches so some of the avatars looking alike with small differences most likely has be designated at roughly the same time but i havent seen two alike before and ive been posting here since there was very few replies under the articles so i doubt that there is several of the same. Another thing to support my notion is that i have the same avatar that i has if i posted on Rossoneri Blog so i feel pretty sure to be honest.
A further thing to at least support my comment in regard of the two comments at the top is that they have also been posted within roughly ten minutes so asuming you are correct it would be mathematically very unlikely to happen within such a short span of time when i have never seen anyone with the same avatars before.
If those mainintaing the website has anything else to say ill gladly listen to an explanation though,

          2. That’s easy bro. Say you have 12 shapes background, different eyes, ears, nose say maybe 10 of those. Add say 15 different colour palettes and you’re able to make easily past 5000 different combinations from just those few options. I haven’t even added things like stripes or other identifiers

      1. Hahahahaha 😂😂😂😂

I have a feeling there are lots more ppl here that do this nonsense just with different accounts. Just the world we live in I guess
Dude literally is arguing with himself. My chuckle for the day 😂

        1. I pretty much ran goal com’s moderation on my own between 2016-18 and i can only say that you and everybody else would be extremely surprised how common that actually is. A lot of repeat customers amongst those who does it as well.
Yeah people using different accounts to substantiate their own comments etc happens often on all sorts of website 😀

          1. Good analysis, poeple sometimes even like their own comment :D, and wanna ask if you know why Comments section in Popovic thread is vanished?

          2. Thanks but no idea as i have no affiliation with SempreMilan and i took myself a slumber in between when comments was removed and wondered myself and had considered asking myself but my guess is that it became too heated as ive seen some fairly nasty comments about balkan people in recent days. Your guess though is as a qualified as mine though.

          3. I remember you on goal. Man those were some times. There was this one dude always commenting the same thing “Tiki taka is basically over” and calling people faecal matter on some spam levels but was so annoying lol. I think I may have ran into you a couple times because of moderation issues but not often..can’t recall my username then..and then didn’t go to forums for a while after goal got sold to sporting News . They were too divisive,.until now. Though Giancarlo almost made me take a hiatus again haha
