GdS: Calhanoglu renewal until 2025 has ‘never been closer’ – the distance outlined

AC Milan are getting closer towards reaching an agreement over the renewal of Hakan Calhanoglu, according to a report.

As reported this morning by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), the parties have ‘never been so close’ as they are at this moment to finally striking a deal over the extension of Calhanoglu’s current contract, which expires in June.

There is a meeting scheduled between the Rossoneri management and the player’s agent Gordon Stipic tomorrow which could be very important, as both Milan and the player want an extension and the difference between the demand and offer is just €1m, with €5m net per season being the demand and €4m net the current bid on the table.

More meetings may be needed to get to the long-awaited white smoke, but both are hoping that the definitive acceleration will soon arrive, as the common will is to continue together until 2025. In addition, the Turkey international’s wife is expecting her second child and everything suggests that the two want him or her to grow up in Milan.
