GdS: Cardinale will attend Milan’s encounter with PSG on Tuesday

By Isak Möller -

Gerry Cardinale is expected to arrive in Milano in the coming days, where he will attend the game between AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain. For the Rossoneri, it’s more or less a must-win to stay in the competition.

The optimism that surrounded Milan at the start of this season has certainly vanished and Cardinale is probably feeling some of the pressure. As reported by Gazzetta dello Sport this morning, the current crisis could prompt him to accelerate the Zlatan Ibrahimovic return.

In addition to meeting the big Swede, as per the newspaper, he will also attend the big game between Milan and PSG. After two draws and one loss, the Rossoneri need to clinch a good result in order to stay alive in the competition.

Should the poor form remain, then Cardinale could be forced to make some serious evaluations regarding the Milan management. Stefano Pioli has already been heavily criticised and if things were to get worse…

  1. Just by the looks of him, you know he has a big head and ego. Probably doesn’t even watch most games, just looks at the financial statements.

  2. This is just another way to put pressure on the team and Pioli and to reiterate the importance of winning against PSG.

    We will lose of course.
