GdS: Cardinale to attend Inter and Newcastle games – a strong bond with the new management

Gerry Cardinale continues to make his presence felt as the owner of AC Milan and he will be at two huge upcoming games after the break, a report claims.

According to what was reported in today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via SempreMilan.it), after having personally watched the first three games of the season, Cardinale has already announced his presence at San Siro for the match on Saturday 16 September against Inter.

Not only that, but the RedBird Capital Partners founder will also be present at the same stadium for match Milan’s first game of the 2023-24 edition of the Champions League against Newcastle on the 19th as well.

At certain points last season Cardinale’s lack of presence in Italy drew criticism from fans particularly during the delicate moments, but with the managerial revolution implemented in the summer and the dismissal of Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara a stronger bond between the businessman and Milan seems to have emerged.

In addition, what filters is that the American feels more involved in the work done by Giorgio Furlani and Geoffrey Moncada, and intends to attend matches as much as possible during the season.
