GdS: CEO Furlani leading negotiations for Reijnders as distance reduces

CEO Giorgio Furlani is personally leading the negotiations with AZ Alkmaar over Tijjani Reijnders and is optimistic a deal gets completed, a report claims.

According to a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) this morning, the signings of Christian Pulisic and Reijnders are getting ‘closer and closer’ to becoming the latest Rossoneri reinforcements.

Chelsea and AZ Alkmaar are asking for the same amount which is €25m, and even the offers from Milan are roughly the same at about €18-20m meaning there is a minimal distances.

The dialogue with the Blues for Pulisic is proceeding quickly and the deal could be closed either over the weekend or at the beginning of next week.

Talks with the Dutch club for Reijnders have accelerated in the last few hours and yesterday it was Furlani himself who spoke with the AZ management, a sign things are getting serious. The distances narrow, and optimism grows.

  1. Inter already closed the deal for Fratessi after sales of Brozovic, that’s how to go about your summer business. I don’t know the whole drag in getting these deals done, it’s not like the funds ain’t available.

    1. From what I remember the whole “will Brozovic go to Arabia or will he go to Barcelona” thing lasted at least two weeks, so that’s plenty of time to negotiate this deal. Also, how do you know exactly when Inter started negotiating with Frattesi and Sassuolo? Do you have a direct line to Marotta or Ausilio? Have you ever negotiated a player transfer for that matter?

  2. Will we ever learn. Lest someone come with a bigger offer and close the deal. No wonder Villareal are questioning our seriousness with this penny pinching approach.

  3. These guys are cooperate guys without no knowledge and understanding of the dynamics of the transfer market! Moncada is a scout, furlani is a finance guy what does this has to do with negotiating for a talents….. Loftus cheek and pulisic are injury prone players yet Milan threw millions at them… Ita so sad

    1. We ditched Dybala for CDK.

      Any regrets?
      Hell no.

CDK is the best AM in the league.
      My fav legend got that.

  4. They know better that’s why with their trash transfer market last summer were only able to scrap 4th place thanks to Juve been deducted 10 points…. On the field Milan was a failure last season even with moncada, furlani at the helms of affair.

    1. Oh, I thought it was Maldini and Massara in charge of transfers in the summer of 2022. Just erasing them from history now are we? Maybe they were FAKE DIRECTORS? Maybe Furlani & Co. are the ones truly at fault for the banter era? It was a plot the whole time to grab the club from Il Dio Berlusconi!
