GdS: Chelsea outcast picks Milan over PSG as Rossoneri show interest in €20m deal

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are looking for reinforcements in midfield, and they appear to have turned to a familiar name in Tiemoue Bakayoko.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Calciomercato.it), Tiemoue Bakayoko has very clear ideas: his first choice is undoubtedly to return to Milan this summer.

The Frenchman – after his loan to Monaco expired – has returned to Chelsea, but is not part of the plans of the London club. This time, it is expected that the Blues will only let him leave outright and not on loan.

The paper adds that Chelsea would like at least €20million for the 26-year-old, who enjoyed a successful loan spell at Milan in 2018-19 under Gennaro Gattuso.

Paris Saint-Germain continue to be interested, but the player still prefers Milan. An obstacle for the Rossoneri, however, is represented by salary: if Bakayoko wants to return to Milan, he will have to reduce it from the current €4m-a-year.

  1. chelsea stocked up on a bunch of players with low resale value. if we want fast cash, they have to go for less than half we paid.
lampard will have to do with two more (defensive signings, hopefully the right ones) and that is going to be it. no closing up on the front two.
no funds for havertz, kepa stays.
tell me it is just a nightmare.

  2. I believe you in that way way, what should bakayoko come do to Milan we need capable and reliable player not such useless like baka God forbide bad things
