GdS: Conti exit almost certain as Milan look to fund right-wing investment

By Isak Möller -

Andrea Conti is one of the players that could leave Milan this summer. Following the departure of Mattia Caldara to Venezia, the right-back seems to be the next outcast in line to say goodbye to the Rossoneri.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), Conti isn’t part of Milan’s project and is expected to leave this summer. His contract with the club will expire in 2022 but despite this, the Rossoneri intend to make a few million from his exit.

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara need some funds to secure the new playmaker and in addition to Conti, Samu Castillejo is also on the departure list. Then, of course, Jens Petter Hauge will soon be announced by Eintracht Frankfurt.

In the meantime, Milan have also opened talks with Roma over Alessandro Florenzi, who would become the new deputy right-back for the club. You can read more about those negotiations here.
