GdS: De Ketelaere shows growth but must find back of the net for Milan

Charles De Ketelaere was the big signing for AC Milan this summer as they paid around €35m to snatch him from Club Brugge. It has been an apprehensive but promising start for the youngster.

The Belgian playmaker has been on the pitch for 453 minutes thus far, including five starts. He has added an assist to his name and also two hockey assists, one of which came in the game against Napoli at the weekend.

As highlighted by Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), Stefano Pioli is happy with what he has seen from De Ketelaere thus far. However, the No. 90 also has to find the back of the net, with very few shots taken thus far.

He did have a goal against Sampdoria but it was ruled out for a narrow offside on Giroud. In any case, he needs that goal to really break through and build on what has been a rather positive start to his Milan career.
