Roma are interested in the idea of signing striker Krzysztof Piatek from AC Milan in January, according to a report.
It was reported by il Corriere della Sera – as cited by MilanNews.it – on Monday that Milan could look to sell the Poland international and find a new back-up to Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The newspaper even added that the priority at this moment for the club’s hierarchy is actually to sell Piatek, or even loan him out.
In Italy, Fiorentina asked for information on Piatek, but Milan would prefer to sell him to Germany with RB Leipzig having been linked.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira, Roma are the latest team to express an interest in signing Piatek and have made enquiries.
For the player, the Giallorossi represent a much more appealling destination than a return to Genoa or a move to Fiorentina – ideas which he has already rejected.
#calciomercato
