By the looks of it, Zvone Boban and Paolo Maldini could leave AC Milan at the end of the season, having fallen out with CEO Ivan Gazidis. However, the problems with the ownership arrived quite early.
According to today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews.it), Elliott Management haven’t forgiven the directors for hiring Giampaolo in the summer and then abandoning his philosophies in a hurry.
It remains to be seen if Boban and Maldini will be at Milan after this season, although it seems unlikely for the time being. The environment at the club has taken a massive hit and soon the parties will meet to see if there is room for reconciliation.
After Leonardo left in May last year, it seems that Boban and Maldini are heading for the same outcome. Gazidis, on the other hand, isn’t going anywhere and continues to run the club with a tight grip.
