GdS: Fenerbahce agree personal terms with Milan defender over January move

By Oliver Fisher -

Fenerbahce have struck an agreement with AC Milan full-back Ricardo Rodriguez over a possible January move, a report claims.

The Swiss international has been widely tipped to leave the club this month having lost his spot in the starting line-up to summer signing Theo Hernandez.

Rodriguez is determined to play a key role for his country at the European Championship this year and as such is seeking a move to a club where he can play consistently.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira, Turkish side Fenerbahce have found an agreement on personal terms with Rodriguez ahead of a possible move this month.

However, they have not yet struck a deal with Milan as they want to take the 27-year-old on loan while the Rossoneri want him to leave on a permanent deal.

Napoli, Watford and PSV Eindhoven have all also been linked with the former Wolfsburg man, implying that Fenerbahce face competition.
