Fenerbahce have started to show an interest in Bologna midfielder Nicolas Dominguez who has been linked with AC Milan in recent weeks, a report claims.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan News), the transfer windows of Milan and Fenerbahce could become very intertwined over the next few weeks.
Dominguez has primarily been linked with Milan as a replacement for Rade Krunic should he be sold this summer, with Fenerbahce being the team that has made bids for him.
It is not clear whether the Turkish side are viewing Dominguez as an alternative to Krunic, or whether they would want to sign both Serie A midfielders.
Regardless, Dominguez is thought to be much more keen on staying in Italy where there is interest from Milan and Fiorentina. A fee of around €12-13m and bonuses will be needed from Fenerbache if they are to sign Krunic this summer.

Both played for small club, imo Dominguez is more workhorse and Hjulmand a bit slow? And only 2 year difference. I don’t see them that much so I don’t really know.
If we can get this guy for 10m or less (as he is in last year) I’d say we better buy Dominguez. Since Hjulmand will likely cost us around 20m.
For me both are very good profiles, I’d take any but definitely the Dominguez trail would be easier if fenerbahce buy Krunic and the fact Dominguez is cheaper
Same… would really like to have seen a DM prioritised over RLC but if Moncada & co are a bit savvy with sales we could yet bring in someone, and RLC will be useful depth.
Personally I prefer Dominiguez and he’s the cheaper option. If any budget saved also allows Esteve and a backup LB to replace Ballo Toure then that’s another reason to go for the slightly cheaper option.
I’m a big fan of Esteve plus he’s left footed which we don’t have any left footed cbs

I’d prefer Dominguez anyday… He’s a complete midfielder. We really need a player like him. All midfielders we’ve signed are so attacking minded. He is more defensive and also can attack when needed. My best signing so far is Tijjani Reijnders. We are lucky to have him as he is lucky to have us too ❤️🖤
I didn’t get to analyse much apart from their highlights and clips but 1 thing for sure is that we are in a dire need of a proper regista and both suits the profile IMO. Both are quite young and still got a lot of room to improve. Hjulmand has a bit more passing and shooting vision while Dominguez is more like a pure DM. But I do see them both as a tough tackler and a destroyer. If Krunic is the only one in our squad to do rhat, then I’ll take anyone of those 2 any day.

Fenerbahce can’t pay that much for Krunic. They can give 5-6 million euros at most, so this transfer is impossible. It can allocate a budget for Dominguez, but it can give a maximum of 10 million euros. This is how I think.
