Following a disappointing season so far, Lucas Paqueta’s future at AC Milan remains very uncertain. The Brazilian midfielder has failed to live up the expectations set after a fantastic first six months with the club.
As reported by today’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews.it), Fiorentina are one of the teams interested in Paqueta. After their failed attempt last summer, they are ready to try again for the player.
Milan, meanwhile, are willing to part ways with Paqueta but only on a permanent basis. The price tag has been set at €40m, as the newspaper reports, and such a figure would even guarantee a small capital gain.
However, the Rossoneri could even settle for €30m plus bonuses. It remains to be seen if the player would accept a move to Fiorentina, given that a few big teams (that are in Champions League) are also keeping tabs on his situation.
