Although Milan have other priorities for the time being, a winger could arrive before the transfer window closes. Federico Chiesa has been linked with the club and this hypothesis, albeit unlikely, could come to life.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews.it), Chiesa is one of the players that the Rossoneri have inquired about this summer. The 22-year-old perhaps didn’t live up to his standards last term and a move seemed logical for his career.
However, as with Nikola Milenkovic, Fiorentina are shooting high and won’t accept any bids below their demands. Milan haven’t initiated concrete negotiations either, aware of the hefty price tag and that they can’t afford it.
That being said, Chiesa will remain on their radar until the transfer window closes in less than two weeks. Should an opening emerge, then Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara might try to snatch the promising winger from the Tuscan side.
