GdS: Five-year deal and €22m fee – Milan close in on signing of Club Brugge winger

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan appear to be edging closer to securing a signing for the attack as they have agreed terms with Club Brugge winger Noa Lang, a report claims.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, agent Bart Baving and Jeffrey Lang (Noa’s father) met the Rossoneri management at Casa Milan and discussed a potential transfer to Milan, having already met back in February.

Lang has every intention of moving to Milan, and an economic agreement with the player has already been found on the basis of a five-year deal, while the €22m asking price from Club Brugge has not put Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara off to the extent that with a small discount it is likely that the deal can be closed.

Lang was offered the role of central attacking midfielder behind the striker, with Brahim Diaz having struggled in the second half of the season, but the 22-year-old Dutchman can play in all three positions in the trident.

It is precisely there that Milan most need to strengthen, and they seem willing to make an investment on another talent that needs some polishing.

  1. De Ketelaere or even Zirkzee would be more interesting signings, specially because from what I’ve heard this guy has serious attitude problems, and De Ketelaere or Zirkzee seem way stronger physically, which is always a plus and a profile we don’t have. Let’s hope this turn out well, if true. I find market rumors hard to believe at this point and up until the new ownership takes over.

  2. Can’t say that i have watched him play, From the highlights I’ve seen he looks like a technical player who can take on his defender and create numerical advantage. I have issues with his decision making after he beats his opponent, also with his shooting. I’d like Milan to bring in a player that can actually be a threat with his shot from outside the box. That would help when you play against lesser team who likes to sit back.
Also noticed that he rarely uses his left foot and if he plays in the middle being good with both feet is a must.
All that said, Maldini & Co. have seen him live and if they believe that he is the man for the job I support them. Hopefully turns out good.
He does have some Neymar mannerisms

  3. I don’t think any of you know this guy’s, this guy is the best player of club brugge, he was nicknamed Neymar, outplayed both Neymar and Messi in the champions league, for maldinI to go for this guy’s shows that maldini is the best director of thz decade, this guy will surprise us, this guy and leao will mesmerise any diffence

    1. You’re absolutely right about him, maldini has the real quality of been a technical director. He will upgrade Milano to be the best team ever in Europe for the first time. Keep the good work polo maldini we’re looking forward to achieved you’re dreams

  4. He is not the wright need our club in need
He left winger and that Position is played by Leao ,Rabic. The Most Need Position is Number 10 or True Playmaker and Rigjt winger along with real Number 9 aswell as,
Box to Box or Defensive Midfilder,
Deklake of the same team or the one tbat plays Number club Bruge is the Ideal player.
Ita not wise investment if lang is bought by Acmilan.

    1. Don’t know what’s in management’s mind signing another left winger and pushing him forward into AMF position.

  5. Lang is a good option to me but he usually play at left wing where we got Leao… there is a guy, who i think is very tallented and just need a little trust in him. I read that he is valued 15mln € – so its not big risk. Francisco Trincao from Barcelona! What you think?

  6. Clearly this is a contingency plan for Leao leaving. Maldini is a master mind when it comes to contingency plans.

RM seems to be sure to activate Leao’s release clause, so nothing we can do about it because RM glamour has it’s charm.

150 mil from Leao sale with 50/60 mil additional from Scudetto and owners/sponsors.. we can get Lang on LW, Antony on RW and Nunez as ST in addition to Botman and Sanchez. I would say the sale would be worth it. But I would rather prefer a good budget to build the team around Leao instead of selling him.

      1. Because clubs like RM, Liverpool, City, PSG knows bench is just as important as first 11 specially when your goal is to win every competition you participate in..! When Milan gets in that league again.. you’d also buy players for 150 mil just for the bench.

  7. I am Afriyie Kwaku Boachie from Ghana. This guy is dangerous dribbler. He dribbles just like Messi and create a lot of chances. Signing him will be the best for us to compete in Europe. Forza Milan

  8. I assume they want Lang as a CAM? Or cover for LW in case we sell Rebic or Leao wants to leave? He’s right footed and mainly plays LW so still need a RW signing. I trust M&M as well so if they like him I’m on board. Please lock down Leao and build around this kid. I also am not worried about attitude problems with the key veterans in our dressing room – esp with Ibra sticking around in whatever role he chooses.
