GdS: Four playmakers in the running as Hauge exit provides funding for Milan

Jens Petter Hauge’s time at AC Milan is close to ending after nine months but the sale of the winger should free up funds, a report claims.

According to the latest from La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), very little is missing until Hauge’s transfer to Eintracht Frankfurt is made official. The deal is almost closed, and the two sides are in the details discussing bonuses, as evidenced by the fact he was not called up for the last two friendlies.

Last October Milan paid €4m to sign him from Bodo/Glimt and will sell him for €12m, but that money will go towards signing a new attacking midfielder. The Rossoneri would like to increase their treasury with other sales, such as those of Andrea Conti and Samu Castillejo, who they hope to get around €15m from.

The latest idea is the loan of Aaron Ramsey from Juventus as the playmaker, but the candidacies of Nikola Vlasic of CSKA Moscow, Isco of Real Madrid and Hakim Ziyech of Chelsea remain.
