GdS: Full speed ahead as Milan look to secure arrival of Adli and Florenzi – the details

By Isak Möller -

With two weeks left of the transfer window, and the league opener just one week away, AC Milan are working hard to complete the squad. Two signings could arrive very soon, a report claims.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), the Rossoneri are moving full speed ahead of Yacine Adli and Alessandro Florenzi. The negotiations for the latter, with Bordeaux, are proceeding quickly although the final agreement is still lacking.

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara want to bring him in as soon as possible to satisfy the needs of Stefano Pioli. The French side have requested €10m and Milan intend to get a discount in order to close the deal.

The story is similar for Florenzi, with new contacts expected tomorrow to unlock the operation. Milan want the Italian international on loan with an option to buy while Roma want to cash in now, but the feeling is that a solution can be found.

  1. Honestly I don’t even know why we’re after these guys if money is short. We should prioritize signing Vlasic and Ilicic and put all of our budget there.

  2. Florenzi is the backup option after Ilicic decided to stay with Atalanta and reject Milan’s offer. Vlasic is impossible to be brought in given the financial conditions imposed by CSKA. In effect, Diaz /Krunic will cover that area, with Adli a potential backup.

      1. Much much more lol. But we made so much $$$ off his sale – 7M – so we can now buy Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe with all that cash! LOLOLOLOLO. What a fkn disgrace. Happy for Hauge. Smart he left. All the best to him. Add him to the list of players we gave up on way too early lol – Locatelli, Cristante, Paquetta, Andre Silva, etc….

  3. Why has our Milan become so impatient with the young talents who have days, months and years to grow? Almost all those we impatiently left for other clubs are now championing the course of their clubs and even national sides. When is Milan going to learn to be patient with young talented players? Why keep Castijeho and let Hauge go? Simply unimaginable. I’m sorry but the leadership should wake-up.
