AC Milan will once again be left to sweat about the fitness of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Simon Kjaer ahead of the game against Sassuolo.
According to a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanLive), the hope was that Ibrahimovic would be back for Sunday’s game as a result of missing the match against Genoa and postponing his return so as not to incur any risk.
At the moment, however, there are still no certainties and the presence of the Swede against the Neroverdi is not at all sure, as the medical team do want to take any risks and caution remains a must.
The next few hours will serve to clarify, based on training, as after the draw against Grifone the team will meet at Milanello to prepare for the match against De Zerbi’s side.
Simon Kjaer could also recover for the match against Sassuolo, but for the Dane it is the same story as Ibra: the next training sessions will be fundamental to understand if he will play against Sassuolo.
