GdS: Future of €40m Juventus winger hanging in the balance – Milan remain interested

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan could return to discussions with Juventus about signing Federico Bernardeschi this summer, a report claims.

It was claimed in the winter window by TMW that Milan would welcome Bernardeschi, something intermediaries and the Italian’s entourage are already aware of, and that Juventus were interested in a swap deal involving Lucas Paqueta.

Earlier this month, Goal.com reported Romeo Agresti claimed that Bernardeschi could leave the Bianconeri this summer after three seasons.

His development has not gone as planned and he has had tactical misunderstandings with Maurizio Sarri, who looks set to stay as head coach. Agresti even revealed that the Rossoneri are still interested in the idea of signing the Italy international, who cost Juve €40m.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport on Thursday – as cited by Calciomercato.com – Bernardeschi’s future at Juventus continues to hang in the balance.

In the winter there was talk of different farewell possibilities for the 26-year-old, and Milan could come back to the window again once the transfer window reopens in order to try and sign the versatile playmaker.
