GdS: Garcia’s four-player plan to stop Leao in Napoli vs. Milan

Napoli coach Rudi Garcia plans to use as many as four players to stop Rafael Leao from causing too much damage at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona tonight, a report claims.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Pianeta Milan), the under-pressure Napoli coach is very aware of the dangers that AC Milan’s Leao poses to his side.

The main player who will be tasked with limiting his output is Giovanni Di Lorenzo, given he is the right-back and is one of Napoli’s most important players.

Crucially, though, Jens Cajuste is going to be asked to track Leao from midfield so that more than one player is trying to stop him from getting space to run into.

Should Di Lorenzo and Cajuste struggle, there is also Stanislav Lobotka in the midfield and Amir Rrahmani at the back who can chase Leao, but that is sure to create gaps elsewhere for Milan to exploit.
