Oliver Giroud has been struggling with a back injury since the start of the season and his contribution has thus been limited. He has two goals for AC Milan but they are yet to see the best of him.
The Rossoneri could be in for a treat very soon as Giroud has now made a full recovery, as reported by Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews). The back problem has vanished and the Frenchman is now ready to make a true difference at the club.
He trained regularly with his teammates yesterday and today, which suggests that he could play from the first minute against Hellas Verona after the break. Ante Rebic has done well in the No.9 role, but the game might suit Giroud more.
In the next few days, Giroud should regain top form and it would be very strange if he doesn’t make an appearance at San Siro next Saturday.
