GdS: Giroud awaiting news on potential two-match ban after Lecce red card

AC Milan striker Olivier Giroud is at risk of being given a two-match ban by the sports judge for the red card he received against Lecce at the weekend, a report claims.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Pianeta Milan), the French striker is potentially going to miss out on the match against Fiorentina on November 25 and then the game against Frosinone at the start of December.

Given the game against Lecce ended in a 2-2 draw, whilst Juventus and Inter both won again, Milan cannot afford any more slip-ups if they are to keep pace with their rivals.

The decision from Serie A sports judge Gerardo Mastrandrea is expected to officially communicate his decision today, as to whether Giroud is going to be banned for just one game or two.

The expectation is two games, but Giroud is now focused on the games with France during this international break.
