GdS: How Milan should line up against Juve and PSG with rotation expected

After the break, AC Milan will take on the likes of Juventus, PSG and Napoli in the space of just seven days. Therefore, some rotation is expected and Stefano Pioli has already started thinking about the XIs, a report claims.

The international break might sound nice on paper, as reported by Gazzetta Dello Sport, but the truth is that there isn’t much rest involved. At least not for Milan’s stars, who currently are out on international duty.

Rotation is thus expected for the games after the break, especially since Pioli will have  Pierre Kalulu, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Rade Krunic back at his disposal. In the photo below, you can see the two predicted XIs for the Juve and PSG games.

Krunic is in pole position for the Juventus game but Yacine Adli will certainly continue to get playing time. As for the No.9 role, it’s clear that Olivier Giroud won’t be able to start every game and thus Luka Jovic will be the starter in one of the three games.

Yunus Musah should play from start against the Bianconeri, giving Loftus-Cheek a few more days ahead of the PSG and Napoli. The exception to the rotation is Tijjani Reijnders, who played a lot with AZ Alkmaar last season and can handle a more hectic period.
