The AC Milan fans could be provided with the chance to give Zlatan Ibrahimovic a send-off during Sunday’s game against Hellas Verona.
According to this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Ibrahimovic would have liked to say his goodbye to Milan on Sunday with a few minutes on the pitch against Hellas Verona in the final game of the season.
However, the Swede is not ready to play yet after suffering a calf injury during last month’s win against Lecce and therefore he will not play any part in the game against the Gialloblu, who need to better Spezia’s result to avoid relegation.
Despite this and the uncertainty surrounding what Zlatan’s future will look like, there could be a moment dedicated to him at the stadium. The idea is still being studied, and it will also depend on the will of Ibrahimovic and whether he thinks it is fitting.
