GdS: Ibrahimovic will recover for Milan vs. Roma – the latest on the others

By Isak Möller -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic missed the final game of the season due to overworking his knee, but it shouldn’t be more than that game. The Swede is fired up ahead of AC Milan’s clash against Roma next week.

According to today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), despite training individually yesterday, Ibrahimovic will be back for the game against Roma. Stefano Pioli knows this and is expected to start the No.11.

Given that Jose Mourinho is the manager of Roma, it will be a special game for Ibrahimovic and he has no intention of missing out. It remains to be seen if some of the other injured players will recover, apart from Davide Calabria who trained yesterday.

Rafael Leao, Ante Rebic and Pietro Pellegri are still in doubt and the upcoming days should provide some more updates on the matter. Recovering one of the first two would be a huge boost for the Rossoneri.
