GdS: Ibrahimovic to leave as AC Milan eye Napoli striker for the attack

The future of Zlatan Ibrahimovic at AC Milan remains uncertain, and the more time that passes, the risk of him leaving at the end of the season is further strengthened. Meanwhile, the Rossoneri are making plans.

Due to the Coronavirus situation, there is currently a stalemate in the negotiations between the club and Ibrahimovic. However, the feeling is that the renewal of the striker is quite far away, for many reasons.

According to today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews.it), in the event of a farewell for Ibrahimovic, Milan are thinking about replacing him with Arkadiusz Milik. The Napoli striker’s contract will expire in 2021 and his future seems destined.

In fact, the Partenopei are in talks with Real Madrid over Luka Jovic, while they have also secured Andrea Petagna for next season. Therefore, the Polish international could struggle with playing time at the San Paolo.

At Milan, Milik could get a spot in the starting eleven, which is why he would endorse a move to the San Siro. However, Napoli aren’t willing to make any discounts, and the Rossoneri could even try to offer som players in exchange.
