GdS: Ibrahimovic’s Sanremo week gets underway but striker is a doubt for Udinese

By Oliver Fisher -

Today marks the start of a week that will be decidedly different for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, as the infamous Sanremo week is now upon us.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), the Swedish striker will be on stage every night, except Wednesday when Milan will play at San Siro against Udinese. However, Ibra is in doubt for that game due to another muscle problem that he sustained last night in the match against Roma. It shouldn’t be anything serious, and today we will know more, but there is a chance he won’t be risked.

There is great expectation for his presence at Sanremo as the 39-year-old will be in Liguria tonight, where he will train tomorrow, Friday and Saturday. Wednesday instead he will be in Milan all da, but as has been said, it will be necessary to see if he can actually take the field against Udinese.
