GdS: Inter clash may come too soon for recovering French Milan star

The Milan derby against Inter may come too soon for Pierre Kalulu who suffered an injury whilst on international duty with the French national team, a report claims.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Pianeta Milan), the Milan derby may see Simon Kjaer take a starting place in the defence rather than Kalulu.

The Rossoneri already know that they will be without Fikayo Tomori after he was shown a red card against AS Roma before the international break.

Kalulu’s physical issues mean that it is likely to be an unusual centre-back duo of Kjaer and Malick Thiaw up against the Nerazzurri, who have also got a 100% record so far in Serie A this season.

Kalulu has not been 100% ruled out just yet but it seems to be a very big ask for the Frenchman to come back from his muscle problem for such a big game.

  1. Kjaer played 1 full game for Denmark. He was crucial last year. If he showed himself this game he should play regular time this season.
