Luka Jovic has been on fire in the last few weeks and according to a report, with his contract set to expire in the summer, the Serbian could ask for a two-year renewal despite a clause in his deal.
Jovic joined Milan on deadline day ahead of the 2023-24 season, signing a one-year contract with the club, and that was extended by an additional year last summer. When the Serbian penned the new contract, the Rossoneri also added a 1+1+1 extension clause in his contract.
In other words, Milan have the option to renew his contract for another year at the end of the season, which they are destined to do as well. According to Gazzetta dello Sport (see photo below), however, the player could ask for even more than that.
Indeed, given the performances lately, Jovic could ask for a two-year renewal to get some more guarantees about his role in the team. Milan would likely satisfy that request, per the newspaper, especially if the Serbian were to continue like this in the season finale.
Nevertheless, Jovic is almost certain to remain at the club as Tammy Abraham is the only question mark up front. Milan obviously need to sit down with Roma for him and an agreement might not be reached.

In his current salary, with a fair back up striker wage, if he agrees the same amount 2 years, sign and move on.
Hope he can do us a big one in the Coppa Italia final. EL qualification immediate and a much needed trophy.
With his current form and desire to comeback to his best I would extend his contract for two years plus one more optional just in case. If next season he will perform at high standard and regain form from his best year at Frankfurt, I will give him new contract of 5 years .
why i feel merda watching him, i don’t know..
Maybe, but he stay with us. If there they want to buy another striker, it make no sense to end contract with Jovic it looks like he find his form. He was okey also last season, main problem was Fonseca…
