GdS: Juventus readying offer to snatch €50m-rated Theo Hernandez from Milan

Juventus are ready to try their luck with a move to snatch full-back Theo Hernandez from AC Milan this summer, a report claims.

The defender arrived from Real Madrid last summer, and in 22 Serie A games he has become the club’s second-top scorer with five goals and two assists, plus a goal in the Coppa Italia.

Tuttosport have suggested that Milan will have a fight on their hands to keep hold of the 22-year-old, with number of big offers likely to come in from Europe’s elite clubs.

However, il Corriere dello Sport reported earlier today that there is no intention on the club’s part to sell Theo, while the player is happy and settled in the city of Milano and wants to stay at Milan for a long time.

Despite this, La Gazzetta dello Sport – as cited by Calciomercato.com – are claiming that Milan’s rivals Juventus are preparing an offer to try and sign the former Alaves left-back during the summer window.

It has been a problem position for the Bianconeri this season under Maurizio Sarri and would go some way towards addressing that, while the Turin club will be hoping that the temptation of a quick capital gain will be enough to convince Milan to sell.

The same outlet reported on Wednesday that Hernandez is worth around €40-50m at present.
