AC Milan have been showing interest in Freiburg defender Kiliann Sildillia, but Juventus could give the Rossoneri a tough fight for his signature, a report claims.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Pianeta Milan), the Bianconeri are once again in the frame for a player that Milan are showing interest in.
This time, it is the 2002-born defender Sildillia who has been tracked by Milan for two transfer windows running. He plays for the France U21s and he has been watched in person plenty of times by Geoffrey Moncada and his team.
He has played 28 times across the Bundesliga, the Europa League and the DfB Pokal this season and seems comfortable in a back three or four, and he can also play on the right flank. This flexibility is what has made him very attractive.
Comparisons have been made to Inter duo Benjamin Pavard and Matteo Darmian, players who are happy on the wing or as a right-sided centre-back.
Juventus want a player of that ilk and they could make a move for him if they choose to sell Timothy Weah after just one season at the club. Milan wanted a new defender in January but could not make a move work.
