AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli was hoping for rather than expecting good news regarding Rade Krunic, and unfortunately it did not arrive.

The warning signs were there that Krunic might have suffered a serious problem when he went down during the 1-0 win over Hellas Verona at San Siro on Saturday with what looked like a muscle problem.
The report that filtered out afterwards suggested it was not just cramp or something minor, and this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) confirms that the Bosnian will be re-evaluated in ten days.
What this means is that he will almost certainly be out for at least a month due to a right hamstring injury, and at the moment TIjjani Reijnders is ahead of Yacine Adli in the battle to take his spot.
If he were to miss a month, that means Krunic would not be available for the games against Cagliari away, Lazio at home, Dortmund away, Genoa away, Juventus at home and possibly even the PSG and Napoli away games.
