MLS side LA Galaxy are working on a contract extension for Zlatan Ibrahimovic amid links with a return to AC Milan, a report claims.
Ibrahimovic has been repeatedly linked with a move back to the Rossoneri since he departed for Paris Saint-Germain back in 2012.
We revealed last month via our correspondent Vito Angele that Milan have held talks with the Swede, but that a denial over a deal being completed had come from the club.
Then, a report in The Sun – who cited TuttoMercatoWeb – claimed that Manchester United have also held talks with the striker over a possible return to Old Trafford when he becomes a free agent in January.
However, a twist has now arrived from La Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira, who claims that LA Galaxy will make an attempt to keep the 38-year-old.
He goes on to state that the American team want to tie Ibrahimovic down for another 12 months, and that the player will make a decision on his future in a month’s time.
