AC Milan’s owners Elliott Management Corporation are assessing if Serge Aurier would be the right signing for the club, a report claims.
The Rossoneri are set to undergo a reshuffle in the right-back department this summer after both Andrea Conti and Davide Calabria both had poor seasons.
The suggestion at the moment seems to be that Calabria is the player more likely to be sold as there is interest from abroad in his signature and any money raised would be a pure capital gain as he came through the Primavera, and Aurier is the player most heavily linked.
According to Thursday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), everything seems to have been prepared economically in relation to the deal for Aurier.
However, the last word belongs to Elliott, and the player’s technical background is not being examined, but rather it will be determined if he will fully embrace the new project.
