GdS: Latest on Milan’s seven injured players ahead of crucial Man Utd and Napoli games

By Oliver Fisher -

An update has arrived regarding the status of some of Milan’s injured players ahead of a crucial next few games.

This morning edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) talks about the injured Rossoneri players. Sandro Tonali, Theo Hernandez and Ante Rebic should be available for Thursday’s away match against Manchester United in the first leg of the last 16 of the Europa League.

Today, the conditions of Ismael Bennacer, Mario Mandzukic and Hakan Calhanoglu will be re-evaluated. What filters from Milanello is that they hope to have them back for next Sunday’s home match against Napoli in Serie A.

We will have to wait a few more days to see Zlatan Ibrahimovic back on the pitch, but he could perhaps feature in the return leg of the Europa League game against United a week on Thursday, ready to square off against his old side and hopefully put Milan in the quarter-finals of the competition.
