GdS: Leao agrees renewal with Milan until 2028 and fine is resolved – all the details

AC Milan have reached an agreement with Rafael Leao over his contract extension and the fine situation has also been resolved, it is claimed

According to Carlo Laudisa of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Leao will sign a renewal with Milan until 2028, and the contract will be worth €7m net per season plus a €2m signing bonus as well.

This morning, Lille closed the dispute with Sporting CP over the fine that is owed to the Portuguese club after Leao terminated his deal with them in order to join the Ligue 1 side, before his eventual move to Milan.

It is an agreement pursued for over a year by the Milan management who have finally reached a breakthrough on all the necessary fronts – just as we reported they would before the derby – and now all that is missing is for the winger to officially sign his deal before the announcements.

  1. If they actually settled the fine then yeah this is believable

good business, LW is sorted for 2 more seasons atleast and longer if our rebuilding goes smooth

    1. Arent you one of the fools here that kept saying it wasnt going to happen? Same as Bennacer? And maldini is garbage?

      Yeah. Real quiet now.

      1. I believe you are the one who last summer went on and on about how our transfer window was ok. You also said if you were wrong you would admit it. So last summer was a disaster and a missed opportunity, what say you?

In regards to Leao signing a contract, it has looked touch and go for some time, I will be relieved if/when it is signed.

I have always been a big suupporter of Maldini and Pioli, but they have made mistakes too.
It’s Gerry the RedTurd who concerns me!

        1. Milan made a very big mistake not signing dybala, I wish I could give them d good analysis on how and why signing dybala would have been d best no matter how huge is wages might have been

  2. I hope this brings an additional level of serenity to the squad today and Leao can go on a tear with this business behind him.

  3. I’ll believe it when Milan’s official website announces it. Otherwise this would be a rather sadistic move by GdS.

  4. Smart move by Leao.

He realised that with bad play is crucial player for this team and that he will be vital part in future.

Milan did excellent job in last two years, but this season in serie a was so bad.

With realistic signings and departure of some players we can expect now next season to be stronger for this team.

    Forza Milan!

  5. If this is to be true…….that would be the best news for AC Milan since years. And definetely a sign of major recovery.I’ll belive it when I see it! Don’t have to mention what does it mean to pronounce keeping of great name within Club on long terms….If this is true…..

  6. Thank GOD Gazidis is out. Other wise we would lose ANOTHER good player for free this season.

    Forza Milan.
