AC Milan wingers Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic are leading the way from an attacking perspective in Serie A and only one of the Premier League’s best sides can boast the same stat.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via SempreMilan), Leao and Pulisic have now got 11 goals and assists between them this season which is much better than any other pair of wingers in Serie A.
Napoli duo Matteo Politano and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia are on eight right now, just like Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi and Armand Lauriente. On seven, there is Fiorentina’s Nico Gonzalez and Josip Brekalo.
Teams like AS Roma, Juventus and Inter do not use a system with two wingers, hence their lack of involvement.
Across Europe, it is actually only the Liverpool duo of Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz that has the same goal contribution as Milan’s wingers.
Milan’s next hope will be that Samuel Chukwueze will start providing assists and scoring goals.
