More rumours have emerged suggesting that AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie is a serious target for Liverpool, but the player wants to stay.
This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanLive) writes that Milan want to renew the contract of Kessié and the player has made it clear he wants to stay with the Rossoneri with a meeting awaited to clarify some of the details, but there is no shortage of interest from the Premier League.
In fact, Liverpool have offered €7m net per season in salary, which is the amount that agent George Atangana would like from the Rossoneri, but Milan have no intention in participating in salary auctions and the management do not want to offer €7m.
Instead they hope to close at €6m, with relations between the management and his agent still good and on Wednesday there will be an important meeting to try to reach an agreement.
