GdS: Maldini and Massara to discuss defender and playmaker with Man Utd and Real Madrid

By Oliver Fisher -

The future of Brahim Diaz and Diogo Dalot is yet to be decided despite the fact AC Milan are heading into the final four games of the season, a report claims.

Both Diaz and Dalot arrived on season-long dry loans from Real Madrid and Manchester United respectively, meaning that if Milan have any intention of keeping them beyond the summer then they must negotiate with their parents clubs over a permanent deal or possible loan extension.

According to the latest update from La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will meet with colleagues from Manchester United and Real Madrid to discuss Diogo Dalot and Brahim Diaz at the end of the season. The paper writes that the future of the two players is uncertain and each will be evaluated in the coming months.

It would be fair to describe both players as inconsistent during their loan spells so far, with the Spaniard and the Portuguese alternating good performances with some less than impressive ones.
