GdS: Maldini confirms interest in Marseille star as €12m contract offer still stands

In an interview with Telefoot, which was published yesterday, Paolo Maldini confirmed that Milan are interested in Florian Thauvin. The winger could soon be a free agent, but the Rossoneri aren’t the only ones interested.

As reported by today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), Milan will continue to focus on young players, for sure. That being said, they want to seize any good opportunities on the market, and Thauvin could be one of them.

If the conditions are right, it could be a good deal for the Rossoneri as the 27-year-old’s contract will expire next summer. A right-winger is something that the team needs and Thauvin can also play as an attacking midfielder.

Milan have already presented a four-year deal, per the newspaper, worth €3m per season. Marseille would like to keep him but a renewal seems to be out of the question. the Rossoneri have signed up for the race, but won’t take part in any actions.
