GdS: Maldini hatches January plan as Liverpool, PSG and Man Utd push for Kessie

A number of teams have registered interest in Franck Kessie forcing Paolo Maldini to come up with a plan ahead of the January window, a report claims.

According to the latest from La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Calciomercato.it), Tottenham and Liverpool have come forward from the Premier League as showing an interest in Kessie, whose contract expires at the end of the season.

The paper also adds Manchester United as a possible destination as they might have to search for an heir to Paul Pogba if he leaves the club. The negotiations over a renewal are currently at a standstill and Milan have not moved from the €6.5m net per season offer, with the player wanting €8m.

In case of non-renewal, Maldini could try to push forward Yacine Adli’s arrival from Bordeaux, where the 21-year-old was loaned back after Milan sealed his signing during the summer transfer window just gone.
