GdS: Man Utd and Liverpool involved as suitors queue up for €50m Milan star

A number of Premier League clubs plus Paris Saint-Germain are all interested in a move for AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, a report claims.

It has been well documented in the media over the past few months that the Rossoneri are approaching another crossroads regarding the future of Donnarumma, whose deal expires at the end of the 2020-21 season.

A number of reports have claimed Milan have no intentions of letting his deal go into the final year, so the 21-year-old must either renew before the summer or he will be sold so as to recoup a fee and at least help the health of the balance sheets.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport on Thursday (via MilanNews), the renewal of Donnaruma promises to be complicated, and his exit in the summer cannot be excluded.

The paper speculates about potential destinations, and claims that the two Manchester clubs could be interested, as well as Liverpool. Watch out for Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton too, who are aiming high, while PSG are once again credited with interest.

Calciomercato.com claimed earlier in the week that Milan will not be held to ransom by his contract situation and have set their starting asking price at €50m.
