GdS: Mancini delighted with Tonali’s recent performances – Italy return imminent

By Isak Möller -

Sandro Tonali has started this season in the best way possible with AC Milan, not only performing on a very high level but also getting his first goal for the club. And his recent success hasn’t gone unnoticed.

As reported by today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), it’s only a matter of time before he will return to the Italian national team. Lately, he’s been the captain of the U21 side but looks ready for the first team again.

Roberto Mancini is happy with what he has seen thus far and as per the newspaper, Tonali could become a key player for the Italian team. After all, he’s the big midfield name for the future and his start to the season has only confirmed that.

We must also remember that he’s still just 21-years-old, with room for improvement. Hopefully, he will continue on this path as he’s destined to become a world-class player if so.
