Eric Bailly has been linked with a move to AC Milan in the last few days, with several sources suggesting that he’s on the Rossoneri’s radar. However, there is an obstacle to overcome in the negotiations, a report claims.
Fikayo Tomori’s injury hasn’t exactly made things easier for Milan and Stefano Pioli, with Simon Kjaer and Alessio Romagnoli already out of commission. However, it won’t affect Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara’s work on the market.
The directors are evaluating several profiles and Eric Bailly is one of them, according to today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews). Man Utd are seemingly open to a loan formula and the player has already given his ‘ok’ to the move.
There is one obstacle to overcome, though, as the two clubs have been unable to find common ground on the transfer fee up until now. That is, the fee of the loan and a potential buy-out clause. The current distance is described as significant.
