GdS: Marseille the latest to show interest in forward as Milan ask for €28m

AC Milan will soon have to make a decision on Charles De Ketelaere’s future and he continues to attract interest from clubs around Europe, a report claims.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) this morning, the signings of Samuel Chukwueze, Christian Pulisic and Luka Romero mean there will not be much space for De Ketelaere next season if they play with a 4-3-3 or even the 4-2-3-1.

That is why the possibility of an exit is being evaluated by the club and the player, in order for him to get consistent playing time at the age of 22, given it is a crucial period for his development.

To the various possible destinations that have been talked about in recent days such as Aston Villa in the Premier League and PSV Eindhoven in the Eredivisie, Ligue 1 duo RC Lens and now Olympique Marseille are keen.

Next season the French duo will play in the Champions League which could therefore appeal to the former Club Brugge star given the prestige of the competition.

However, to avoid recording a capital loss, a sale for €28m minimum is needed and the management are not keen on a loan formula at present.
