AC Milan and Inter are currently in a state of reflection regarding a potential swap deal involving Franck Kessie and Matteo Politano, it is claimed.
Gianluca Di Marzio reported on Wednesday night that Politano has agreed to join the Rossoneri from the Nerazzurri, having found game time hard to come by this season under Antonio Conte.
The 26-year-old’s agent Davide Lippi was even at Casa Milan to meet with the Milan management, while Carlo Pellegatti was the first to mention Politano’s €25m valuation and the potential for a swap deal involving Kessie.
According to Monday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport – as cited by MilanNews.it – there is still the possibility of a Kessie-Politano exchange taking place, however it is currently on stand-by.
The two clubs are currently reflecting before closing the deal, as they wish to ‘analyse the situation well and evaluate the best strategies’, the paper claims.
We recently reported meanwhile that Milan have set an asking price of €25m for Kessie too.
