GdS: Milan and Real Madrid working towards agreement over Brahim Diaz – loan until 2023 possible

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are working on securing the services of Real Madrid playmaker Brahim Diaz for at least another year, a report claims.

Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanLive) writes that Milan would be fine with keeping Brahim Diaz with a two-year loan formula, setting an option to buy at €20m, while Real Madrid value the player a little higher and could try to include an obligation to buy in 2023 instead of an option.

There is optimism about reaching an agreement even if there is still some distance, but Milan have two allies in the operation because Brahim would be happy to stay while new Real boss Carlo Ancelotti does not seem willing to bet on the 21-year-old playmaker.

It is not excluded that Los Blancos will ask to include a buy-back in their favour just in case he explodes and they wish to bring him back to the Spanish capital.
