AC Milan are interested in goalkeeper Maarten Vandevoordt but face competition for a Serie A rival, according to a report.
Vandevoordt is a Belgian professional footballer who currently plays for Genk. Back on 10 December 2019, Vandevoordt became the youngest goalkeeper in UEFA Champions League history at 17 years and 287 days, and he continues to show a lot of promise.
The Rossoneri continue to be linked with a number of different goalkeeping targets as the future of Gianluigi Donnarumma continues to dominate the headlines, and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Vandervoodt is one of them.
The paper notes how he is considered among the best talents in the Belgian league, but it seems that it is not just Milan that know that because Roma have also been credited with interest in the 19-year-old. He has made nine appearances in the Belgian Pro League so far this season and made just four last season.
